“The property at Riverfront Retreat provided a nice place to stay while exploring the area. It is located right off 19 which is the main road into Bryson City and can also take it to Cherokee.It is an older house in a quiet neighborhood.There is a nice spacious living area with an open kitchen. If u like cooking on your vacation, there are 2 big appliances that do about anything u want. The fridge has an ice maker, but not with an automatic ice and water area on the fridge. I always appreciate……

“We enjoyed our stay at this tiny home. The home, itself, was clean and well appointed. The proximity to downtown Bryson City was ideal. The only concern was that the tiny home is located directly across the street from several dilapidated trailer homes. ”

“We stayed here for the Maggie valley hillbilly jam. The house was cozy just like the pictures. The host was wonderful to work with. The refrigerator was not cooling or freezing appropriately when we got there and she was very quick to come check it out and bring in another small one for us. Just a couple of things to consider… like I said I have no complaints what so ever just something’s that caught my eye but nothing that would make me not stay here again! - the beds are SUPER soft… I think……

“This small, unique cottage is not elaborate, but had all the things my brother and I (Ages 79, 80) were looking for in an "out of the way" location. Shopping BEFORE arriving is helpful because the nearest Grocery is several miles away. It is in driving distance of many wonderful places to see in the NC mountains. Not for everyone - but for us - it was great!”

“We have stayed at this property several times now and we always enjoy it. The back porch facing the creek and waterfall is the highlight. This time the owner has updated the living room with beautiful new sectional couch. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are super comfy. We hope to stay here many more times in the future. We love everything about this cabin. ”
