Taharano Residences

This hotel is very new, clean and stylish. The car park is very spacious. Though it is just next to the station, as it is at Numazu north exit, there are not many restaurants or shopping area. You need to walk 1.2km to cross the rail in order to reach the south exit side.

Easily one of the best hotels I've every stayed at. The staff is courteous, helpful, and very professional. Despite its age, the hotel does not feel old or worn out - I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained, clean, and neat everything was. The rooms were generously spacious, offered an amazing view of Mt. Fuji in the early morning, and a wonderful view of the bay at night. The hotel's French restaurant was absolutely fabulous and each meal was a delight. The breakfast buffet was...

A fantastic getaway. A trip down to Izu peninsula is a common adventure for most in the Tokyo area, however the choice between towns isn’t always clear. This property takes away any concern. You can spend the entire trip in the luxury of the hotel or venture out to see the small city of Ito. A rich history of European visitors and access to the mountains within 5 minutes drive. The staff was very friendly, always quick to help. The dining was great. We only ate the breakfast, but it was...

I have stayed in many luxury 5 star hotels, but this place get 10 stars, comfort and service beyond anything you can imagine. Big thank you to the owners for fantastic hospitality!

Staff are very kind and speak English well. The room was a good size for a solo traveler and was very clean. Highly recommend staying if you are traveling to Numazu.

Absolutely excellent facilty. Super hospitable staff.

Excellent service. Not only was the stay memorable for us but the hotel staff exceeded expectations. When Uber blew it on a timed taxi hailing, they shuttled us up to the station to make our train - off schedule. Great service! The buffet is also awesome and rooms are so sweet! Views are excellent and the location is at the heart of the beachfront. Pretty great spot to experience Atami.

Fabulous beautiful location by the lake, convenient to public transport and easy views of Mount Fuji. It’s a brand new hotel with many amenities, good size room, exceptionally attentive staff plus the owner is incredibly nice and offers all kinds of tours. They also have vilas with private Onsen which we definitely will try next time!

Nice clean place to stay and relax

Breakfast is great with a lot of choices.

we enjoyed the hospitality of hotel staff

You gotta walk uphill for a few min but what awaits you is a sleek hotel and the beautiful ocean view makes the hike totally worth it. You can see the illuminated castle at night and the town of Atami. Great staff and very clean facility. About 17min walk to the beach. A lot of dining options are about 10 min away.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area overlooking the ocean. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and kitchen is well equipped. Parking is very easy, would highly recommend for traveling with a car.

Staff were so helpful. The room was in good size with private onsen. Dinner was good.
