We were a bit concerned about the weather forecast as rain was predicted, but luckily, it cleared up on the day of our stay and we enjoyed perfect conditions. "The stay at Couscous was absolutely spot on! Beautiful glamping resort in the quiet town of Manazuru. It has good connection links to the main station if odawara. Perfect for exploring the Hakone region of Japan. The tents were very well equipt with fans, heating, usb's. Outside there was incredible decking areas with BBQs, and a large table and chairs. The site itself was extremely clean and the toilet and shower areas were always spotless and very modern. Overall I would 100% recommend this...

"Newly opened hotel - very clean and well equipped. Connects to Shinkansen station. Restaurants on 2nd floor and 11th floor. Rooftop onsen with view of Mount Fuji. Close to Hakone (by car)"

"Spacious, clean rooms. Loved the outdoor bath and view from the balcony. Staff was very attentive and greeted us with a delicious mochi treat and tea while they readied our room. Also personally showed us the facility and took us to our room. The dinner and breakfast was also outstanding and delicious! The dinner meal was served in courses rather than all at once and the attention to detail was outstanding. Loved the resort and would definitely consider visiting again!"

"my husband and i came to the Hotel Indigo Hakone for a night during our honeymoon. this stay was definitely a highlight of our trip. the room was absolutely gorgeous with our private outdoor bath. the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. we had a very relaxing time and experienced great service from the staff. we also enjoyed the convenience of the free shuttle bus from the odawara station. "

"The Prince Hakone Lake Hotel Ashinoko is a high quality hotel directly located at the shores of the Hakone Lake and in walking distance of the cable car. It has a big parking lot and a beautiful Onsen. Our lake view room was clean & spacious with a good view of Mt. Fuji. Two restaurants are onsite. "

"Helped me see Mt. Fuji at sunrise. There was a thick layer of fog forming right above the Yamanakako Lake in the early mornig, which seems to be a common thing in this season. Because this hotel was above the fog it didn't obstruct our view of the beautiful Mt. Fuji at sunrise. It was a very clear and sunny day, and the fog cleared up within a couple of hours after sunrise. If you are aiming for sunrise picture, this hotel really enhaces your chance of catching the precious view. "
