![Take the road beyond Fusine (closed in wintertime) towards the Laghi and this emerald mountain lake with grant views is your reward. There are several spots where you see the water bubbling upwards, vulcano style, which fits perfectly with the idyllic scenery. 

The hike around this upper lake takes a good one and a half hour, depending on how many benches you want to try out. “We had chosen to stay in this hotel for the proximity of the Bohinj and Bled lakes. It was perfect for us, we did a lot of hiking. You can easily start a trip directly from the hotel. We liked the breakfast and the dinner in the hotel. Dinner is in buffet, not an abundance of choice, but everything was tasty, and the staff made sure everything was constantly refilled.
