Fishing stay
Perfect for our needs as fishermen on the Harris chain of lakes. The condo had everything we needed. Being close to our fishing lake was very convenient for us. Overall a great experience!!

Super clean
Very clean, nice neighborhood. Was close to wedding venue. Only complaint, AC was not working and rough sleeping. Thankfully bedrooms were on 2nd floor so could safely open windows in bedrooms. Host was aware and trying to fix off site? Did not take away from our mini vacay since away during day. Ceiling fans in bedrooms would be huge plus. Would recommend to a friend and would stay again.

Condo was clean and spacious. Beds and pillows were hard and low to the floor. Living room furniture wasn’t comfortable for relaxing. Kitchen was not well stocked. There was no way to even make coffee which was a big inconvenience when you had to run out for a cup every morning.

Not what I was told
Before arriving I asked if I needed to bring anything, I always ask in case something is t provided: was told no except lotion or soap. Upon arriving there was no pots or pans of any sort,only paper plates and paper cups. 2 bowls, no coffee maker. The little coffee thing that you set on a burner was dirty and still full of old coffee grounds. I had to wash it: the kitchen sponge was old and nasty. There was no broom or mop or anyway to clean the floor. So needless to say I had to buy everything when we got there. Had I been told I would have brought my own. And then the homeowner wants to file a bogus claim saying we broke his outer garage door when we never opened it. He would know as he has a security system and cameras in garage and outside. We also find out from people in neighborhood he is not supposed to be doing this type of business in that neighborhood due to the HOA, so we worried the whole time weather we were going to have an issue. When trying to call and inquire about it we got no return call. I have screen shots of everything to prove . As I know he will deny any of this:

Disappointed
When we inquired about the property we told the property owner the three adult men would be staying in the unit for 2 months doing a commercial job. Upon arrival discover the property was very lightly furnished. There were two plates two bowls and two mugs in the kitchen there were no drinking glasses no mixing bowls no storage bowls no pots but three pans. One spatula and one slotted spoon for cooking. There were silverware with very flimsy date knives that wouldn't cut a slice of bread. No kitchen towels no decorations whatsoever on the walls a very small round glass top table for eating on with four so-so chairs. The sofa and loveseat in the living room or very low and hard to sit on. The upstairs is all carpeted however there was no vacuum cleaner. The beds hard and low to the ground. Each bedroom closet had no dressers to put your clothing in only nightstands no lamps and three hangers in each closet. When communicating to the owner was told to purchase what we needed and would be reimbursed. At the end of our stay when we presented the receipts to the owner he said I don't want all that stuff can you take it back. then said he would keep the dishes we bought and the pots. We chose to leave the house exactly as we found it and took everything we purchased with us or gave it away. We have been using VRBO for many many years and never stayed in a house that was so inadequately stocked with the necessities especially for a 2-month stay. We did have a few other issues for instance a day we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working had to wait a day or two for that to be fixed and another day cable/internet went out had a wait a day for that to be fixed. Which was a little inconvenient since there was not even a radio or anything to listen to. My wife who was visiting had to sit in a very quiet house listening to the next door neighbor's dog bark all day long.
