Cheryl and her staff were very accommodating to our special needs (aka a bigger coffee maker and a dresser). The check in process had no surprises and was quick and easy. Parking pass also gave us free access to Founders Park a few miles south, which had a nice park, walking and a small beach. The pools were clean but it was a little cold in January, a hot tub would have been awesome. Property felt safe with the main road on one side and the canal on the other facing a nice neighborhood and beautiful boats moored. Saw a few manatee and huge lizards walking around like the neighborhood cats. The restaurant was always packed but service was super fast and so delicious. Portions were way too much but food for leftovers. Thankfully the fridge was apartment size and fit a few groceries and said leftovers. Towels were a bit small for a normal american size, but I always bring extra beach towels for showers anyway. King bed was tough on our backs, a bit too firm, maybe I'm just spoiled with my pillowtop at home. Shower was good pressure for 2nd floor and room has a few toiletries in case you forgot something. Grocery stores and laundromats not far in either direction. I'd stay again, but bring my own pillow and towels.
