“We were disappointed with the state of the room we stayed in, given all the positive reviews we read before booking. Unfortunately there was water leaking from the bottom of the toilet, the walls of the rooms were paper thin (meaning we could hear all the conversations happening in other rooms beside us). The bed was comfortable enough, but there were odd stains on the sheets. The amenities were okay; the basketball and ping pong courts were useable, but the pool looked dirty and not……

“We had a very nice stay at Windermere House. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The location is beautiful, and the lake view from our room was fantastic. The only negative was the squeaky floors. We stayed on the second floor, and in the morning we could clearly hear people walking in the room above us, which was a little disruptive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.”

“Nice area nice view of the lake Pictures were completely incorrect. We booked the family cottage for 6 people. They gave us a tiny 300 sq foot shack with the bedrooms the size of a broom closet. They showed pictures of the premium cottage which looked nothing like the dump we got. They made us pay 30 for propane for 4 nights. Complete rip off. We were given a little bigger cottage the next day. They refused to refund us our money. No privacy at all.”
