"Cozy, beautiful, pretty new and well-maintained cabins. Very inviting outdoor seating area with fire pit and grill on the grounds. There is a (very small) grocery store within walking distance. Highly recommend the short drive to Zumbrun Overlook to watch the sunset - it's unforgettable! The cabins are located in a quiet and very small town (although you can hear the highway traffic in the distance). Nice drive to Little Orleans (to get on the C&O Canal towpath). The host was super responsive....

"Check-in was easy via a link that was texted to us. Keys were ready. Could see fireworks from room, which was great. Room very spacious. Pool was nice. Always stocked with towels at the pool. Bathroom was huge. All workers pleasant. Weren’t big fans of the mattress on the King Bed and the sofa sleeper. "

"Our room had a lot of issues from an outlet hanging out of the wall, a broken table, and the shower drain was slow to drain. I called the front desk and they sent up someone to replace the table. I did not know that the room had no way to keep the fan on and it was stuffy to say the least. I turned on the ac to get the room cool then adjusted the temp up one and that brought the heater on. This made for a horrible night to sleep."

"The room service was terrible; they hadn't stocked the bathroom with toilet paper or toiletries, so we had to call to have them delivered. They hadn't even cleaned the room—the entire floor was covered in sand, and there was hair in the toilet and on the floor. The rooms look much more spacious in the photos than they do in person. Aside from that, the outdoor facilities were excellent, and the hotel itself is very beautiful."

"Breakfast in the 10 Thomas restaurant was delicious, staff was attentive and friendly. We reported the bathroom outlet was not functioning, they responded promptly (fixed within a half hour). Pool was not open yet for the season, but it looked nice. Room was not spacious, (the doorway and hallway seemed a little tight) but it had everything we needed. "
