This is an older, well-kept motel. We enjoyed the nostalgia and the friendly staff. We had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We would stay here again.

The motel room was clean and well maintained. On a short walk you get to see a beautiful river where you can walk and have good access. The motel has beautiful garden and there are alot of humming birds along with kitties and farm animals. The staff is really helpful and they also provide you a list of local restaurants and eateries which avoid the hassle of researching by yourself. It was overall a good experience and we would definitely go back there.

Very enjoyable three night stay. Calm , peaceful location in a cabin with a full kitchen and with river access via short walk . Friendly and helpful owners , staff , and welcoming animals including goats , sheep, turkeys , humming birds and cat. Though it was early for the pool it was quite hot out , so pool was opened and though slightly cool was very refreshing and perfect ending to a day of hiking . Close access to Sequoia Nat. Park, in a beautiful setting Would go back again and stay at the Lazy J.

We had such a nice time at this motel. Its close to some great food and coffee spots. We love animals and there were turkeys, cats, a goat and sheep on the property along with hearing owls at night and seeing hummingbirds at the feeders. Room was clean and they have a folder that tells u info about places to visit and eat. Staff and cats were super friendly. A short walk to the river. Just beautiful!

Very courteous and helpful reception person. She walked to my room to resolve a minor problem with the cable TV. Parking was right at the room, which was very convenient. There is no restaurant at the motel, but the reception person provided a comprehensive list of area dining options. Clean room and comfortable bed, although the property is dated, everything worked just fine.

The room was clean and cozy. I guess because of the time of the year it was, we experienced ants in our room the two nights we stayed there. The staff were nice about coming to clean up the ants for us. This wasn't something that was necessarily their fault, however it was a little of an inconvenience. Other than that, the area was quiet and peaceful. They had a cute, little farm on the property with some sheep and wild turkeys. I would recommend this motel!
