"We had such a great stay over Thanksgiving week here. There were 9 of us, including 3 teens. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen is fully stocked with a whole cabinet filled with any spice you might need. We sat around the fire pit and watched the beautiful sunsets. Thanks so much for a very relaxing week on the River. "

"Our children and grandchildren stayed during Thanksgiving week, 2025. It was a famy reunion after their mother and grandmother died in August. The host was most accommodating, helping us find a "to-go" Thanksgiving Day dinner of turkey, ham and prime rib with 5 sides, plus gravy, sauces and cranberry compote. The dining room accommodated all 12 of us easily. The youngest ones (9 and 11) loved the bunkroom above the garage. Everyone had sufficient space, and we never felt crowded, even when we were altogether. Due to the cold weather there was only one shopping trip for the girls in Williamsburg on Black Friday. Everyone agreed they want to do it again, especially in warmer weather. It is a great place for a large family group like ours."

"Home was absolutely beautiful and perfect location. Everything we needed for a weekend away was provided, kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals. The large basement was perfect to hang out in and our kids absolutely loved the pool table. The weather was a little chilly so we didnt really get to utilize the patio but for warmer months the patio would be great to relax on. The back yard was huge and perfect for our kids to run around. The home was very welcoming and we are already planning our next trip back. Hosts were very responsive with trip details and communication."
