“We met Lucy at the door and she was just wonderful! Very sweet and showed us around our room and the home. Our room was clean, large, and had a giant soaker tub, and a sitting room with a view of the mountains. The food for breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetarian meal and some fruit. “The room was nice in terms of appearance. But the emergency light went off for no reason in the middle of the night and kept us up for a while until we found something to cover it with. The mattress in our room was well worn and had a big dip on one side making it hard to get comfortable on that side. Check in isn't until 4:30 but the majority of the shops close at 5. You need to get here early. Fort Augustus doesn't really have that much to offer. It was nice to walk around a little and see……
