“What a fun place to stay! Topanga is such a cute place, great restaurants. Host was very responsive. I would suggest a small SUV to get here, the road is steep, some pot holes but when you get to the house, parking is tight. This is a middle floor of a triplex so there is noise from other guests and flushing in the walls is loud…so if you have young kids who go to bed early or are light sleepers you might have an issue. But everyone around us was quiet right at 10pm. Great views, good coffee! ”

“What a lovely and quiet property with a beautiful view! The beds and pillows were quite comfortable and the living space and kitchen amenities were exactly what were needed for a weekend in Topanga! The host was easy to communicate with and answered questions quickly. There is 1 parking space available on site and other parking is available close by.”

“Picturesque location as an escape from the traffic and noise. Eclectic and artsy lodging created by free spirits over time. Some might say quirky. Accommodation was not modern which provided extra charm. Comfortable for just me to get away, but close to beach and city and its offerings. Hosts responded quickly and provided great directions to off beaten path. I would stay here again when I have more time to hike and explore (nearby state park). Thanks so much.”

“The Tea House was exactly what i needed…a peaceful, quiet retreat in nature.The nightly chorus of frogs was a highlight and the trails on the property brought breathtaking views.The host, David, was upbeat, friendly and communicative which made my trip even more enjoyable.There was no tv(perfect!) and no oven/stovetop which made cooking a fun challenge using the toaster oven and microwave. My one tip is to bring napkins and/or paper towel! I can’t WAIT to return!”

“What a lovely and unique property! As described, the rental is actually 2 separate "studio-style" spaces, each with a full bath, small kitchenette, and private outdoor deck space. Each space is distinctively decorated with thoughtful amenities and great attention to detail. So inviting and comfortable! The location is perfect - nestled into the hillside of Fernwood, which is about halfway between PCH and Top-O-Topanga. This rental is ideally situated for 2 couples (or 2 independent adults)...

“This house is exactly as advertised. If you are looking for a quiet, spacious place in the country, this is it. The owners are very helpful and the beds are extremely comfortable. This is a country home, not an urban luxury residence. The disadvantage is LA traffic. It takes about an hour to get anywhere in LA.”
