"I have stayed at the Endeavor Inn four or five times over the past 4 years. Previously, it has been a very good experience. Between this weekend and my last stay about 3 years ago, right after it underwent a major renovation and remodel, the inn has suffered some wear and tear. The good points - the staff was very pleasant, the room was clean and the bedsheets were very clean. The room was very quiet. The vending machine coffee is surprisingly good. The breakfast food is better than average motel fare. The lobby area and breakfast areas are clean and comfortable. The downsides - my bathroom vanity light took nearly 2 minutes to achieve full brightness and its cover needed cleaning; it looked like some iodine had been smeared on the ridges of the cover to the light. The toilet seat was loose. The shower head was loose, a bit too low for my 6 foot height, and it needed cleaning. The stairs in the hallways have worn carpet that needs cleaning. The eggs at the breakfast bar are not fresh and may be made from powdered supplies. Some seemingly long-term residents in one hallway thought it was OK to smoke weed in the room or hallway; we avoided that area by taking the other hallway. For me, the value was good, though not quite the polish and cleanliness of three years ago. The inn needs some minor updating and repairs - carpet on stairs, occasional dings in the paint, the rubber seal around the door, and electrical and plumbing fixtures."

"This place was so awesome I hesitate to let the secret out. This place appears to be an apartment building transformed into hotel suites. The spaces are huge, airy, clean. Our space was next to a busy street so it was a bit noisy but not overwhelming. It is a BIT tricky finding the entrance to check in at night but nothing discouraging The rate was extremely reasonable even for the Midwest. Finally, there is a coffee/cocktail downstairs."

"The beds are excellent. I had the best nights sleep in years here. The comfy bed and AC control made it for me. Specifically, the AC wasn’t set up to blast cold air at you but controlled the room temperature. The room was quiet and well set up. The staff very helpful. The breakfast was adequate."

"Great place. It's not near anything but its a great value. I would definitely come back if ai am traveling through the area. Only quibble- the atav was probably the smallest I've seen in some time. I didn't check but it might have been a 32 or 36 inch LED. Yea, I'm spoiled. Lol."
