The front staff were both very friendly. There were lots of cameras set up front to ease the worry of the people hanging around outside at all times of day. The surrounding area downtown was easily assessable. Lots of fun stuff to do near by. Our floor was quiet. This is definitely a case of, “you get what you pay for”. Very run down overall, but clean in appearance. Bed was comfortable. Room was scorching hot even with the heat turned off. Bathroom door didn’t close, which was funny if anything. It's located in part of the old school Toronto scene. Might not be the best location for elderly people as the location is close to a certain aspect of society that sometimes asks for money. Staff are very friendly and the room was clean. We just wanted a place to sleep that was within walking distance to things we wanted to do. This fit the bill. The area isn't that bad, but there are a lot of homeless people that hang out in the parking lot- no one bothered us though. Comfy bed, and small kitchen space if you're self-catering.
