Great location if you want somewhere affordable to stay with relatively easy access to downtown Toronto. The Oakville GO station is a 20 minute walk or only a $10 Uber away. 45 minutes on the train and you are in Union Station. Lots of good food options (Beertown and Gladiator Burger) and shopping (Oak Place Mall) very close to the hotel The hotel has been nicely renovated and is very clean. However, if you book a single room on Expedia, you are most likely going to end up on the lower level which is like a high basement. It's fine.

The hotel is clean and quiet, and the staff are very friendly. However, the breakfast options suck. Extremely limited choices and small eating area. Also, the queen beds are more like a double twin, and the TV in the rooms are out of date.

The front desk worker was sat to the side on their phone even when there was a line up of people waiting. Had to ring the bell every time or they would ignore you. The knob on the toilet in our room was broken upon arrival but other than that the room was relatively clean just outdated. We only stayed a night but if we had to stay any longer I would stay somewhere else.

Great staff. Free breakfast is …decent - nothing to write home about. Some baked goods English muffins toast two cereal types - weird hard boiled eggs. Watered down OJ lol. Anyway. The staff were wonderful and upgraded me to a better room - but it was all for not because it was facing the highway and it stays busy ….all night. Biggest advice, take a room not highway having. Otherwise great value all in all.
