The lane to the property is unmetaled & a farm track but it's not very far from the road so did not pose an issue for us. "Overall, I had a really great stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after long days of traveling around England. The shower had good water pressure, which earns points with me immediately, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Now for my slightly picky complaints 😂 The water definitely had a chlorine taste to it, the pillows flattened into pancakes about five minutes after putting your head on them, and I was a little surprised there wasn’t complimentary bottled water in the room. None of those things were deal breakers, though. I’d absolutely stay here again — I’d just bring my own water and maybe my own pillow next time!"
