Tucked away cozy cabin!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and felt very welcoming when we arrived. With the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms it made things great for our muti-family visit. We would recommend and return. Thank you for a beautiful view and a bit peacefulness of the Smokey Mountains!

Family Vacation
The cabin was nice but needs a very good cleaning inside and out. It also needs a lot of Maintenance work done. The windows are so dirty you could hardly see out of them. One window upstairs won’t stay closed , the Refrigerator leaked water , it had 2 inches of water in the bottom when we arrived. All that being said we still had a very good time, the area is beautiful and we saw a Bear next to the deck an hour after we arrived.

Great layout cabin for two family’s
This house has beautiful scenery. The bed are super comfortable!! It’s 3 story. So we had top floor with smaller kids. A teenager took the middle room. The bottom was taken by a family of 4. So it worked well for 10 ppl. Down side it’s very dusty and not very clean to my standards as I own my own cleaning business I would hate to know one of my team members called what they called clean. Dust all over furniture, windows are dirty. Cobwebs on fixtures in bathrooms. Light fixtures on the steps are falling out of the outlets. There is 3 bathrooms. But There is no shower in the down stairs bath. So a family of 10 had to share two showers(hot water kept up I do give them that). One the main level and top level. A bears got on our cars and left marks of mud and paw prints. So we was kinda scared to stay out in the hot tub late. This would be a beautiful place if cleaned properly.

Southern Comfort Cabin in Townsend, TN
We loved the location of the cabin to GSMNP, and enjoyed Townsend, TN. We enjoyed the cabin and it was a good fit for our family. Overall not pleased with the managing of the property. -Check in was at 4p but the cabin was not cleaned upon arrival; Vacasa offered to comp dinner for the inconvenience of leaving for the cleaning crew to arrive, but not follow through with that reimbursement -The outside trash wasn't taken off, so the next morning a bear was in it. Not good for the bear. -Kitchen was not adequately supplied- we were provided 1 trash bag and 2 dishwasher tabs- for 4 days -Vacasa management was contacted and declined to bring more - The fridge leaked water over the floor every time the lower bins were pulled out.

Nice but needs work
The home was ok but several things need attention. The house was very dusty and boy the windows sure could use a cleaning so we can see the view. Windows on top floor don't close all the way. The fireplace didn't work. Maintenance man came Saturday morning but he said the propane tank was empty. I would have thought that would have been checked before we arrived. We were pretty disappointed. We'd suggest a firestick or smart TV instead of the small TV that is in the den. Pretty limited access to TV that we were interested in. This wasn't our main concern but I think others would really want that. And to have Christmas decorations up everywhere in February was a little tacky! I assume I get back some deposits. With the fireplace unusable that was a real negative part of our trip!

Nice cabin, though the floors squeak. Slept five comfortably. Nice to have the pool table. Clean inside, but the deck and chairs were leaf covered and dusty. Parking and driveway a little difficult to maneuver. Overall though, a good place to stay for our golf outing.

Place had a leak, driveway did not accommodate although I asked over 4 times via email
Won't stay there again. Won't use Vacasa. Place was not fitting to our needs with trucks and trailers. Bathroom had a leak, grill didn't work when we went to use it. Maintenance had to come out and fix it. Hot tub and deck look like it is sinking and falling towards the hill. President of HOA called about trailers and they were nice enough to allow us to park them in an area out by the gate. Very poor communication from Vacasa after multiple emails asking about parking. If it were disclosed properly we would have chosen another home in the area. Guest were upset with me because I made the reservation. Not the best trip to say the least but we made due using one bathroom. Should be compensated for our discomfort in some fashion.

Beautiful & comfortable
We had a wonderful time Easter weekend with our kids and another family . The layout of the cabin was really great with lots of rooms and the view was beautiful. The cabin was clean and neat but not as clean as it could be and management was very hard to get a hold of. Once i finally did, i just asked if we could have or pay for a 1 hr late checkout on Easter Sunday but was told no and so we left at 10am. Everything else was good. However I’m not sure that i would stay again because of difficulty in reaching mgmt.

A Little Housekeeping and Maintenance Could Go A Long Way
We loved the house and its location in Townsend. It was just what we wanted for a week of hiking in the Smokies. But let's talk... Starting with the outside...The ad that says this is a flat parking area fails to note the steep driveway to the parking area. The top step from the parking area is soft (could be rotten). The hot tub was advertised as emptied, disinfected and refilled between guests. That does not explain why the trap was full of hair, lint and other debris. The grill was filthy and we bought a brush to clean it before we could cook on it. Let's go inside. The rugs in the living area are curled and create tripping hazards. There are lightbulbs out in the kitchen and the high wall lamp next to the fireplace. The TV remotes have bad batteries. The floors have not been cleaned in ??? Walk up the stairs from the basement and look under the sofa. Oh my! The house is advertised as good for 10 people. The kitchen has four teaspoons, one tablespoon, one kitchen towel, two wine glasses. Overall, a little disappointing. The excellent icemaker was the best part of the kitchen. Main floor bedroom - the blinds are inoperable. Downstairs bathroom - The cold water faucet is random, whether it turns on or not. The toilet has mold under the rim. (All of them might, but it is obvious from the tub.) The tub needs to be resurfaced/enameled. Bedrooms - none of the sheets fit over the foam toppers and so are hard to keep together. We found the bunk bed mattresses to be unusable. Overall - I've never stayed in a house that didn't have any kind of instruction information. How to use the hot tub? How to use the TV and electronics? Neighborhood requirements? Tips about the area? How to leave the property at the end of the stay? It would be very helpful to have some information. We had a great time and found the cabin to be quaint and comfortable. But after a week, the quaint was just a little dusty and tired. Wasn't quite up to expectations.

Beautiful location, cute cabin
Beautiful location in the mountains. Cozy, cute cabin. The water shut off on our last night. Property manger sent maintenance to check it out. They were not able to fix the problem asap, something was wrong with the water pump. They are planning to issue a refund. Felt like property management was very responsive.

Nice get away
We had a nice stay here. It was a little confusing on where to take your garbage. I wish they had instructions on that in the cabin. We looked at the sign at the main gate and figured it out. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking., but knives are all so dull, the butter knifes cut better. Kids enjoyed the pool table and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. We found 1 scorpion on main level by couch and then kids found 2 down stairs while playing pool...we didn't leave anything on the floor after that. All in all we would stay here again. It had a nice homey feel.

Very beautiful view
The view was beautiful and house was very secluded and quiet. Could use general maintenance and more detail to cleaning, there was a lot of dust on six panel doors, bathroom exhaust fans, and ceiling fans. There was a scorpion found in the master bedroom - again just a maintenance issue that should be taken care of. Water heater was very hot and should be corrected since someone can get burned. More detail to cleaning would help.
