“Very clean and comfortable room. I think the bathroom had recently been renovated as it was immaculate. Excellent shower. Tea and coffee in the room. Great location. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.”

The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. I met up with friends from Bampton for dinner, and the Festive Christmas menu was excellent — beautifully cooked and full of flavour. “What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. The communal lounge had a cosy atmosphere, decorated for Christmas and stocked……

I stayed here for business so I needed to do more work in my room, the staff were happy for me to take my dinner up into my room and the rump steak that I had was incredibly good. I was also up and out in the morning too early for breakfast so the staff made me a packed lunch which was really nice of them. ”

“The hotel is located at the high street and a supermarket is just at the opposite. It is very convenience. The hotel interior is quite old and has traffic noise at night.”
