"We opted to include the half board meals (dinner and breakfast) which was an excellent choice. Dinner was amazing with so many delightful Japanese dishes that were beautifully presented. We didn’t think we could finish it all but we managed! The hot spring included the large main bath, outdoor, bubble, waterfall, and the cold baths as well as two types of saunas. Playing table tennis in yukata was also fun. We are glad we stayed here."

"Boutique bed and breakfast type facility. Had a wonderful time at the hotel. Please keep in mind is a small cozy hotel. There isn't too much amenities but staff was great with what they offer. "It was the perfect gateway into our Ryokan/onsen experience with beautiful & spacious accommodations in a super private and relaxing setting. Having our own onsen with view of the mountains was an absolute dream after a week in the big cities. The attentive staff were exceptional and brought dinner to our room that we cooked over the coals for a unique experience. Overall an incredible retreat to come back to after a busy day of onsen hopping. Truly a first class experience!"

"Clean and spacious traditional style room. Toilet was somehow a bit too small though, not particularly comfortable to use. Basin (for hand washing after using toilet) was then on the other side of the room which was a bit inconvenient. Hot spring facilities were at a different building (much newer and modern) which were 2 mins walk away. That was a slight problem when it was raining heavily when we were there. Parking was not great for our bigger car (RAV4 size type SUV). Tight space and lot of guests made parking very difficult. During golden week, when we stayed there, dining options at night were very limited in nearby regions."

"From the very start the staff was very nice, even though we weren't the best tourists. We stayed a short time, and in that tike the staff was friendly, despite our Faux Pas and were willing to help us with arranging luggage forwarding. The room we booked was very clean and offered coffee, tea, and ice water in our rooms which we were free to use. The mats we slept on we comfortable and had plush blankets that almost kept us TOO warm during the cool Spring nights. The Onsens though were the star of the show. We had two private Onsen attached to our room, one that was inside and one that was Open-Air. Both were incredible to be in and legitimately helped myself and my travel companion with aches and pains during the trip. I can't recommend this place enough. Must go Onsen if you find yourself in Hita."
