"The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!"

"We enjoyed our stay at The Crow's Nest. The "cottage" was very clean, decorated nicely and provided everything we needed. The view from the family room was lovely. The area is quaint but close enough to Hendersonville, Black Mountain and Brevard that one could easily make day trips to these small towns. "We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!"

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."
