Very cool place! But only go during none seaweed season!! They cleaned the seaweed daily did not smell at all! Breakfast was excellent, room was stunning. Only reason I gave 4/5 is the room is very hard to find and taxis are very expensive.

Overall a fantastic location. To no fault of Be, the mosquitos are insufferable. They provide bug spray but it does not work. There is wearing of the structure of the rooms, allowing bugs in. BUT the resort is beautiful. Food was fantastic. Employees were even better. So nature of mosquitos as well as seaweed is tough to plan for. Perhaps a different season of travel would be better for those minor things.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Be tulum. Staff was attentive and polite, rooms were as shown very spacious and secluded. Area around resort was safe and walkable to several other properties as well as eating shopping and convenience store.

If you're looking for a five-star resort with a very natural feel, this is for you. The amenities, restaurants and staff are top notch. Still very equal friendly. It's an adventure, just walking around the property. Unfortunately, the ocean was full seaweed. The resort did have workers there every morning keeping the sand looking pristine.
