Really enjoyed the beach club. If you have trouble walking, there are lots of steps! Rooms were very nice; housekeeping did a nice job. The employees were some of the friendliest people around! The food was just OK. I expected better from a secrets, but it was just ok. The room was impeccable and the service was top notch. We enjoyed the spa services, especially the hydrotherapy session. I would give the food 8/10, our favorite restaurants were Jasmine and Portofino. This resort's atmosphere was all about the chill vibes and relaxation; we loved evey minute of it. Some times the steaks are good, other times they’re a sad grey mess. Sometimes the wait staff was Johnny on the spot and other times they’d disappear for 20 minutes at a time. This was our first time in Mexico and at an all inclusive resort. If I had to sum it up, there is a facade of luxury built on cheap underpinnings. However, this may be a problem with most resorts in Mexico. Cheap construction of the resort and inconsistent service and food quality left us wanting more. I can see the potential and the appeal but won’t be staying here again. Did not have many adult activities, and we were forced to be quiet or face staff threatening to call the police. We were just laughing and talking with the other guests! The staff was expectational everything was clean and accommodating. It was my friends birthday and they held a private dinner which was beautiful. Julio was our concierge and go to person he was attentive and always updated us with activities and helped us with any questions or concerns.
