"Limited parking so be prepared to pay on the street. Great location. Walkable to any part of downtown. Easy walk to Thai restaurant one block away if weather is bad. Staff was a little cool but efficient enough. Lobby and breakfast area was clean and food was great. A bit crowded so overflow are was good. Do not recommend ground floor as it can be a little noisy. Love how KeaHotels has water and pastries available for guests during the day. "

"This was a wonderful stay! Loved the Viking theme. Room was perfect size bed and pillows were very comfortable! Food at the Viking restaurant was fantastic !! But we were a little disappointed with the breakfast I think we were expecting a feast befitting a viking lol"

Opt for the nicer rooms tho ~ we had one deluxe that viewed the harbor, which was excellent, and two that were cheaper...they were both very small and had issues with the shower design (got whole bathroom floor wet). The lobby bar and breakfast area were lovely. Would def stay here again."

It was quiet and out-of-the-way yet very convenient to walk to all of the shopping and restaurants. The staff was friendly. It was very low-key calm and honestly just the perfect choice. I loved it! "This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen."

"We were there only one night, but the room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. They recommended dinner at a nearby restaurant (Old Iceland) which was excellent! The hotel's breakfast buffett was wonderful with lots of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs and meats. I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Reykjavik. "
