Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor

"We stayed here as a family of three while visiting Acadia National Park, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The location made getting to the park incredibly easy, which saved us time and stress during our trip. I also loved that the property had a small gift shop. It was convenient, and our 3‑year‑old had a wonderful experience there thanks to the front desk staff, who were exceptionally kind to him while he was looking at the souvenirs. It’s a moment we won’t forget. Compared to other accommodations in the area, the price was reasonable, and personally, I really liked the look and atmosphere of the place. The adjacent restaurant served excellent food, and the free coffee available on-site was a nice touch. The entire facility felt very clean. If I had to mention one minor concern, it would be that we could hear sounds from the neighboring room, so we found ourselves being careful not to make too much sounds just in case. I think it is the same level as Marriot hotels I frequently use, and still, it wasn’t enough to take away from our overall experience."

"We wish we had stayed more than one night!! This place was amazing, s'mores at night and a great continental breakfast in the morning, located right in the middle of town, with a beautiful green area behind the hotel that is a blast for the kids to explore."

"I’ve stayed here a couple times now and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The facilities are great and you can’t beat the views from the grounds or the location. The only complaint is the comfort of the beds. Since I’ve been here a couple times now over the past few years, the beds in each room I’ve stayed in were older, slouchy, and uncomfortable. I wish the hotel would invest in new beds because everything else at the hotel is wonderful."

"The little cabins are just fantastic. Ocean front and beautiful. Cider and cookies at check in. Mints on the pillow. Walk in shower and great bathing products. Coming for my entire stay next time!"

"A neat idea bridging the gap between summer camp and adult staycation, this place was awesome. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My 2yo loved it as well, and has loved his Marshmallow Ranger stuffy since we left!"

"I stayed in Tiny Cabin which is perfect for solo travel. There was a glitch with VRBO and they charged me for a double occupancy. The host went above and beyond assisting me in a resolution. The pigs on the farm were amazing to watch. And great company. Impossible to be lonely with animals around. I was up for a family member’s wedding. The drive was a bit far to the town of Bar Harbor but I got used to it quickly. It was actually nice to be able to get away from the hustle & bustle of the wedding party. The farm is a peaceful retreat."
