"Very nice estate in the foothills near the airport. Not the best location if you are only in town for Florence center but a good home base for exploring the region in general. The town down the street has good restaurants. The Olive groves are beautiful but it does have some big industrial sites nearby. The apartments are cute but basic. The grounds have a nice pool, tennis courts, and soccer field which is a bonus. Excellent budget friendly option if you have a car. "
Former Barn in the countryside, scenic, overlooking Florence
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment was comfortable & homey, & the hillside view of the Tuscany hills was beautiful. Alvaro was a gracious host that went the extra mile to make sure our stay was the best it could be. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a hideaway outside of the hustle & bustle of Florence. Thank you Alvaro we look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!"
"We only stayed one evening, arriving after midnight and leaving soon after breakfast in the morning. The hotel and grounds were beautiful with great attention to detail. We would highly recommend this hotel to future travelers. "
"This VRBO is aptly titled and the host Jacopo who greeted us upon our arrival is just as charming and helpful as he assisted us to carry our baggage to our rooms and gave us pointers for travelling to Florence. The setting is a serene retreat in the Tuscan countryside away from the bustle of the city, but within a reasonable 20 to 30 minute drive to Florence, and with many villages and restaurants to visit in the area.Once settled, the terrace was so inviting, we broke out the wine and Prosecco and sat chatting till 3 in the morning. In the morning we shopped at the grocery store in the nearby village of Borgo San Lorenzo for a basic breakfast taking advantage of the well furnished kitchen. After our stay in Naples, our grandkids (all adults) repeated several times they wished we had stayed here for the entire vacation!"
"The property of phenomenal and all local. The rooms are fantastic and the views are to die for. The breakfast is fresh and local. I just cant describe how amazing this place is. Silvia is very kind, amazing, and attentive, it really feel like home . Hugo (the dog) is a very sweet boy too."
"The house was great. Very clean. It had everything we needed and anything we didn’t have, the owners quickly sorted. The location is great with many little restaurants dotted around and only 30 minutes to Florence. Would love to stay there again if the pool was warmer. "
