The location is perfect to enjoy the main attractions of the city. The room was nice and comfortable and the breakfast the best we had in Italy.

Overall the hotel was amazing and the location was amazing. We loved the room it was small but super cozy and cute. However the hotel left a big dent on our experience when it failed to be honest in their guest book. In the guest book it clearly states iron is available just need to ask the reception and iron with the iron board will be provided. When we came from spending our day and asked the reception we were told that iron is not available as there is no bell boy left to go and get it. It was around 10:20. This is the first time I have even had the experience where a bell boy needs to get iron from outside the hotel? And why can’t the person at the reception do this? On top of that the receptionist was not the nicest during this conversation and didn’t even attempt to help us. We had a train early in the morning and were left extremely disappointed as we couldn’t get our clothes ready for the next day due to this. In the book had it mentioned that iron is not available after a certain time then we would have requested it earlier. for a hotel that charges $250 per night this is extremely unacceptable. I have never even had such an experience at a 2 star hotel charging less than $100.

The hotel is very close to main areas of interest. The reception staff are helpful with reception open 24 hours. The room we had was very spacious, spotless, cleaned daily and also had much welcomed air conditioning. We had an extremely comfortable stay.

The Hoyel is located in a central location within Venice. Very close to St Mark's Square. The service is excellent and very professional. I definitely stay at it again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Montecarlo. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, location was excellent, and I liked the breakfast and afternoon tea. The facilities were clean, but the decor was in need of refreshing. There were a couple of rips in wallpaper and a small hole in the wall of my room, and the carpet was worn. The hotel had a lot of charm and i would stay there again.

Staying in Venice for only three nights it was important that we were within walking distance of everything. This hotel is conveniently located minutes away from all the major sites, excellent gelato, amazing restaurants, ferries to the airport, ferries to the islands. It is dated in its facilities, but spotless. The staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast in the morning is wonderful. An extra bonus was they served afternoon tea at 4 o’clock, which was a nice treat after walking and being a tourist all morning. The rooms had working air-conditioning, a spotless, bathroom, and clean rooms. The only feedback I would give is the Hotel could use a bit of an update, but otherwise it is spotless, safe, and perfectly located
