Pretty House In Quiet And Traditional Neighborhood

This charming house offers all the comforts of modern living in a suffused historical atmosphere, it is a wonderful solution for family who want a marble and comfortable home in center of the city but in the same time in a peaceful and quiet area.

The apartment is very bright and spacious, at the ground floor it has an elegant and large living room, a very bright and functional modern kitchen and a luxury stylish bathroom. At the first floor there is a lovely and cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, another room with 2 single bed that could be attacked like a double bed and a modern and stylish bathroom. There's air conditioning in the sleeping area and central heating to ensure a comfortable stay.
Outside there's a patio with flowers and vegetables, in the middle you find a table where we recommend especially in the summer to eat in a quiet and typical background.

At 100 meters far from the house you will'be in front of the venetian lagoon, with its wealth of wildlife and natural species, seeing the many islands and the sinuous typical lagoon's 'barene' , reproduction area for hundreds of species of birds.

Wonderful experience
An absolutely delightful house, spacious, comfortable and stylish with great outdoor space in a charming, authentic area, just a few steps from a busy, working canal that's constantly fascinating. It's away from the crowds and madness of parts of the city but just a few minutes walk from excellent restaurants and shops and with three vaporetto stops really close by including the one from the airport. Rita is a star host, unfailingly helpful and accessible at all times. Do ask for her recommendations and use them. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property.

Fabulous visit
We were very happy with this rental property. There was plenty of room and was just as described. We loved the location of this property. Easily accessible by water bus but in a lovely quiet are of Venice. We would highly recommend this property.

Tranquillity in Cannareggio - would book again
In our attempt to get away from the tourist masses, we booked this house in Cannareggio. Rita and Elena were very helpful, arranging to meet us beforehand and keeping in touch on the day of our arrival. The house was very simple - with a mix of furniture past and present. The two baths and beds proved very handy especially when travelling with a teen. We didn’t use the garden because the weather was so-so. We found the house to be very conveniently located with plenty of bars on nearby Fondamenta degli Ormesini for cicchetti and a very nice Coop in Strada Nuova. The little shop/deli on the way to Guglie is also very nice and we did shop at the baker in the Ghetto. We travelled to Murano/Burano and the Biennale from the house. While it can feel like a trek for some, we were soooo very happy to get away from the selfie-stick crowd in the evening. I would wholly recommend this house if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay in Venice and can be respectful of the neighbours in this corner of La Serenissima.

A bargain in a quiet sestiere close to everything and the parade of tourists if one chooses to join the crowd. All of Venice within a long walk or short vaporetto ride. Do not buy vaporetto deals on web. They must be validated before use, and the validation gismos are few and far between. Go to a tobacco shop and they have the same deals.

Peaceful Location, great if you want to avoid the crowds
Property is as advertised. It is well equipped and comfortable and feels very safe and secure. It’s a bit of a trek to the major attractions but quite close to the station and Guglie Bridge which has a busy shopping street nearby. Lots of reasonable restaurants on the Cannaregio Canal, very close to the house.

Great value!
Not the fanciest of properties, but a fabulous value. 2 bathrooms which meant one for my teenage daughters and one for my husband and me. Cloths washer on site. Good local restaurants and easy access water bus stops.

Quiet location and cool refuge in residential neighborhood
This is authentic Italian living in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is tucked back into a courtyard, off of the main street that is only accessible through two locked gates. So, we felt very safe. We never saw another neighbor or heard a peep from anyone at night when we were trying to sleep to get over jet lag. Wonderful to have air conditioning upstairs for the bedrooms during the hot summer. And, the extra fans downstairs which helped us recover from being out in the sun. Also, thick shutters helped to block out the light in the bedrooms, making it easier to sleep. Kitchen had basic supplies with a good refrigerator and small freezer. The living room furniture was unfortunately uncomfortable for us. Multiple water bus stops nearby made it very easy to get to other parts of the city. There were restaurant options close by and our favorite gelato stop. Grocery stores not far away either. Appreciated the washing machine and multiple drying racks that we could use in the courtyard. Great bathrooms and good, hot shower. So glad we chose this property over a hotel!

Located away from the tourist crowds. Peaceful yet in area with local not tourist restaurants. Able to shop for groceries at Despar and plenty of reasonable priced shops. Only negative was broken French press for coffee. Very comfortable.

What a lovely apartment, located in a quiet section of Cannaregio - remote, yet close to everything. We spent 3 wonderful days with our 2 granddaughters, and are looking forward to our return in May, when we'll spend another 6 days, just the two of us. Tucked away and quiet. A well appointed and property of good size for four people.
A very well appointed and good sized house that was ideal for 4 persons. The additional bathroom was a great advantage and it was nice to be able to enjoy the outside courtyard, especially as the weather was so warm. On the whole a good location for our group as we like to be away from the crowded areas and prefer to keep to the quieter Fordamentas but at the same have benefit of outside cafe/bars/restaurants in our locality but also within easy walking distance. The fabric of the property is of generally good order but there are some issues that need attention such as: A socket cover in the kitchen was taped t the wall and the bare wires accessible and visible ( a danger if a child was in occupation. Broken window latches in both bedrooms, one not working the other not lockable. Light switch in kitchen not working, causing a sizzling noise when switched on/off. Bedside light near window in large bedroom, bulb broken (taken out and disposed off during our visit by us). Bare wires are hanging out of wall in utility area. Peeling paint work above the shower in bathroom downstairs. Only 4 mugs for coffee/tea, one has cracked handle! Shower head in downstairs bathroom slides down, fixing bracket loose. Garden chairs, two have cracked backs, one unusable so leaving just 2 decent usable chairs. Kitchen needs some heat resistant table mats and scissors. We cooked in for 6 of our 7 nights and coped ok but were careful to use the bread board to place a hot dish/pan on to avoid damage to the work surface or table cloth, others may not be so careful. These are minor issues so should be fixed with ease but the electric socket cover is a health and safety issue is in need of urgent attention. These issues would not deter us from using the house again and we were made very welcome by Agata who greeted us off the Alilaguna upon our arrival and gave us detailed information about the property and had extensive knowledge of Venice that she was able to inform us about in order to make our stay enjoyable.

Fantastic house in great location!
We had a wonderful stay in Venice, thanks largely to this home. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and modern. It was also in a great area; very close to the less trafficked/tourist areas, great restaurants very close, and still walkable to the main sights. Also, very close to the Alilaguna water taxi airport line. Our contact met us on the street and guided us to the place, since it can be a little tricky to find the first time. She gave us great recommendations for food as well. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Great location, charming house, comfortable and clean. Great bath rooms and fully equipped kitchen.
Property is located on a canal that is serviced by four different Vaporettos and only two stops from the train station. Good restaurants located near house. Washing machine and patio to dry clothes outside a big help as we had been traveling for two weeks. Good WiFi.

Awesome Place!
At first, we thought we would be too far from the St. Mark's area. However, the location was perfect! It was an easy walk to the St. Mark's area and very nice to leave the busy tourist section at the end of the day. Very easy to get to and from the train and to access a vaporetto. We were greeted when we arrived, just as promised. The apartment was perfect - all went smoothly. There were also some great restaurants nearby and in the adjacent Jewish Ghetto area. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing House and Location
Rita we loved our stay at your house. The location was perfect. Just a 15 minute walk from the train station in a very quiet area off of the canal. After coming off a hectic 10 day cruise it was nice to be able to relax and catch our breath in such a spacious and clean place. The kitchen is big and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The living room sofa was nice and comfy and the WiFi worked right off. Great comfortable queen size bed in the master bedroom. Lots of hot water in the two spacious washrooms, with extra large fluffy towels and 2-ply toilet paper. We had planned on doing laundry but ended up being too tired. Wish we could have stayed longer. When we return to Venice yours is the only place we would think of booking. Please thank your cleaning woman again for finding Tina's diamond ring. Marva and Tina Canada

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO! No complaints.
Loved having our own entrance and courtyard. AC in bedrooms was great and the fans downstairs were a necessity! Would have been nice to have some coffee and sugar supplied as we went and bought our own. Which was fine ... But for our first morning we didnt have any. Location is great. Space is lovely. Very clean with updated bathrooms. Walking distance to everything. Cafes and restaurants very close as well as vaporetta stops. Overall a great experience!

Perfect location
Our family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children stayed here recently for a few days. The location was perfect, lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. Easy access to the water bus. The house is beautifully decorated and updated. There is a cute courtyard in the front to enjoy our morning coffee and relax in the evening. We loved that it was away from the crowded areas and I being a Quiet Venice neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again and again if we have an opportunity to return to Venice! Great apartment in a great location! We were away from the crowds and yet able to get to everything so easily and quickly. Comfortable bed, adequately supplied kitchen, lovely terrace area with line for our washed clothes. Nice neighborhood feel.
