"We were section hiking the Appalachian Trail and this home’s proximity to the trail was ideal. "

"There were a few little hiccups, the top bunk bar was not attached (not an issue as it wasn’t fully needed) and the oven was broken but I message the owner and he replied back very quickly. Neither were an issue for us. The house was perfect! Plenty of cooking supplies for our crew of 12. We loved the deck and spent plenty of time out there and there were more than enough towels for everyone. The check out rules were very clear and reasonable. "My beautiful bride Tressa and I spent two nights at the Blackburn Inn. It was our second visit to this lovely hotel. Both times we had travelled from Virginia Beach to Staunton to enjoy the 3-hour train excursion operated by Virginia Scenic Railway. I wanted to share what wonderful service we received from both Amber White, your front desk supervisor, and Devin, one of the wonderful housekeepers. Both of these young ladies went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Because of my wife's medical issues, I had made a few special requests during our stay. Both Amber and Devin were so pleasant and attentive to us, it made us feel very special. I won't bore you with specifics, but suffice it to say that these two ladies are incredible representatives of both the hotel management and the Blackburn Inn. It is because of them that we will continue to come back to this beautiful property for our future visits to Staunton. "

Holiday Inn Express Lexington by IHG

"Good variety of breakfast items. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Halls were clean. The road to enter the property was reduced to half a lane because of construction. The work was temporary but no signage indicating Holiday Inn Express was at the end of the lane. "
