"The rooms/bathroom, tubs etc are VERY clean. The exterior was a little old and it definitely could use an update. The outdoor ice machine is not something I would use; it was nasty/dirty. Also would not eat the breakfast. When I got coffee from the coffee machine, it had brown sludge in it. The lobby area was clean and the staff were all friendly."

"Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Plenty of on the premises free parking that felt very safe. Easy access to local restaurants and outlet shopping center. Short drive (via Clay Street) to downtown Vicksburg where much to see and do. Good place to stay, first choice hotel for my next visit to Vicksburg."

"The hotel was not as clean as it should have been. There was noticeable wear throughout the property. Breakfast had no juices because the machine was broken and no pitchers of juices were offered. Ice maker on 3rd floor was broken. The shower in the handicapped room only worked through the hand-held. Did not live up to other stays at these same hotels."

"The staff were very helpful and courteous. We were in town to sample a few of our favorite restaurants and to see the McRaven House tour. We frequented those restaurants plus discovered a new place that is a new fave, The Biscuit. The crab cake appetizers are fantastic! McRaven House and the civil war museum did not disappoint. The property has a pool that is well maintained and was a pleasure to use. The wonderful breakfast was unforgettable. We would stay there again!"
