Loved my stay. I was only there for the weekend but its close enough to things I wanted to see on the southern coast of Iceland. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Super convenient location, extremely clean, and had all the amenities we could think of. Loved my stay here!

Hotel Kria was a perfect place to stay on the southern coast of Iceland. It was a cozy and welcoming environment with very nice room accommodations. The location was perfect for exploring Thorsmork, walking along the black sand beaches, and served as our home base for exploring Skaftafell national park and the glacier lagoons. Probably our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast each morning (included in the price of the stay), which was an incredible spread and prepared us for each day of...

We stayed for two nights, and it was luxurious while also comfortable! Situated below the picturesque church and across from gas, hot dogs, a pub, and our ice cave meeting point, it couldn’t have been more convenient!

This place is super nice and modern, very clean and nice facilities. There is also a bar offering food (pizza, wings, etc) for relatively cheap compared to the rest of iceland. The place is right by reynesfjara beach so it is a perfect location close to vik. Loved it here.

Lovely cottage that had everything you need to make a meal. It has a view as well with the skies can be seen.

Our stay here was very good. Great breakfast. No real issues but be aware the Expedia listing says black sand beach is a 1 minute walk but was actually a 10-15 minute drive.

The stay was very comfortable, close to extraordinary views. The staff very friendly and helpful!

Absolutely lovely. Comfy beds. Rooms are gorgeous. Well worth the price. Thank you! Fruit advertised at breakfast was only a fruit cocktail so that was a bit disappointing but overall this place was amazing. Would def stay again.

It was on a cute farm in the beautiful South Coast countryside. I was able to see the Northern Lights clearly from the property in Mid-August!

My husband, daughter (20), and I stayed at The Garage for 2 nights (April 30-May 2). This is one of my favorite places we have ever stayed! If you plan to stay overnight in south Iceland do not miss this gem. The location is close to all the sights and activities, but the Garage is so comfortable and charming you might not want to leave the property! Cool decor and design, large and comfortable room, great amenities, and a wonderful family that owns/operates the Garage makes this a unique spot....

This is one of those hotels that you will want to stay forever. The location is unique, where you will have not matter which room an amazing view. I think the mountains views are the best! The service always impeccable. Rooms are spacious, not too much closets tho, but very modern. Breakfast was the best!!! You need to remember that this hotel is not near any big city, so if you want quietness and no city lights at night, this is your place. They have a restaurant but we didn’t eat there because...

Hrifunes Nature Park is special for many reasons. For starters, the house we stayed in was modern, clean and beautiful. It was a perfect and peaceful place to stay in hopes of catching the Northern Lights. Additionally, the host who runs Hrifunes was truly the kindest person we encountered on our trip. We arrived late and he was waiting in the cold to help make sure we found the house okay and then walked us through to show us everything so we felt settled and secure. Additionally, we had...

Honestly the pictures make it look bad but its so so nice and comfortable. A must go if your in iceland. So clean and cozy and the staff are so kind. Feels like home.

Literally next to the Skógafoss waterfall and the restaurant had one of the best lasagnas I've ever had in my life and the soups were absolutely amazing. Rooms are tiny like the majority of the hotels and the smell of the water was certainly different, but you could feel how soft it leaves your skin. Front desk was really helpful.
