“I have stayed in this hotel during both the winter and summer seasons, and let me say that I would come back here every time I visit Fernie BC.
The staff is always extremely welcoming and friendly. Frederica (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) was very helpful and very friendly. With a big smile on her face she told me all the summer activities that were happening during my stay.

“This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a terrible smell that made it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. The entire room felt dirty, run-down, and neglected.
The bed wasn't even made properly, which immediately made us question whether the linens had been changed at all. There were visible signs of poor housekeeping throughout the room, and the overall condition was unacceptable. The hotel itself...

“Very nice place for the budget. It was funny that they had an abundance of toilet paper in the room. Four rolls instead of the standard one. Nice fireplace. The only cons which to me were minor were that I found the pillows too soft, the breakfast could have used warming trays, and the pool towels were thin. Other than that, it was great. It was even attached to a restaurant so you didn't have to walk outside which in this case was good because it was raining.”
