“We booked this property for a holiday weekend while visiting my father at his new home in nearby IL. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out we were ABSOLUTELY impressed. Every single staff person that we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. They offered their assistance freely without making us feel like we were being a burden. “This is a well maintained property. The rooms are older, but are clean and comfortable. It is a good location to stay if you are going to Nauvoo.”

“The room we stayed in was great, but the other residents were a bit sketchy, it looked like a lot of folks were permanent residents. We felt bad for our hostess because she was just working there, and she was fantastically helpful.”
