I was on the fifth floor which was cool with its vaulted ceilings, unfortunately the AC during the summer was not working, the hotel's website listed this, but Expedia didn't list this. They did put in a small portable AC unit in my room; however the exhaust wasn't installed properly so the hot air was just dumping back into my room. I did open the windows, and the room cooled that way through the night, when I exited my room to leave the hallways were very hot. The hotel itself is nice and clean the only issue was that AC problem. Vail is a very pretty and very expensive "Village" if you've never been then you will want to read up on it because it's not cheap.
