My itinerary paperwork stated that I could have a personal item. When I checked in with the ticket agent, I checked a rolling duffel and planned to take my pack on the plane as my personal item which fit within their chart for a personal item. It also met the 14x9x22 dimensions. The ticket agent insisted that I had to check this pack and was not allowed to take it on the plane as my personal item. United charged me $40 for this pack solely based on the type of ticket I purchased which showed "Economy", but, the itinerary I received from Expedia stated that I could take a personal item on the plane which this pack clearly me United's definition size chart as a personal item. Very dissapointed that I had to incur this additional expense.
Flt was delayed by weather but staff was very professional
I do travel with assistance. Other airlines give me an aisle seat near the front. My last 2 trips with spirit had me in a middle seat in the back of the plane.
Tough times for all of us. From check-in to my destination, they did an awesome job.

Expedía notified me that my flight to Denver from Gunnison was delayed 444 minutes when in fact it was in time. Luckily I had a hunch it was bogus.
Getting my flight changed because our trip was cut short due to the corona virus. United staff made it happen and we’re friendly, caring, and professional about it.
Although the customer service was great and the flight crew was extremely helpful, I'll go back to flying Southwest. The seats were so tight packed that I couldn't cross my legs. I've never had that problem on Southwest.
I had injured my back prior to the trip and was only able to walk with the use of a walker. Maria at United got us a wheelchair to use in the San Antonio airport, and also made sure we had a wheelchair waiting for us at the connecting airport and our final destination. This was a huge help. She also moved us to seats with extra legroom so that my family could sit with me. This was first-rate service and we are all incredibly grateful. Thank you for all you did to help us.
