“First of all, I knew the rooms were beautiful and period. Ours was superb ! Our window looked out to the lake, and sunrise was visible if you were up early. Windows with screens for a lake breeze too. Bathroom - all Kohler ! All new ! Furnishings, window treatments, carpeting, bed linens, etc. - all top-notch and elegant. “I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from……

“Heck in had no front desk. It was very difficult for my elderly parents who are not tech savvy. They had a very hard time getting g in the room. When they finally got in, the room was great. It was clean and had comfortable beds.”

“Appears to be in transition. I'm a local resident and stayed for a week during home repairs. It's not posted on Expedia that we are charged $250 authorization for incidentals versus the $100 they authorize others. As I've worked in hotels in this area for over 10 years', this was very odd to me. I always felt like we were being watched when I wasn't problematic and gave no issues during my stay. I worked nearby and chose this hotel because I used to work for a Country Inn, they always have great……

“Room was super clean! Great shower and bathroom set up! A/C was great! Only downside was the pool seemed like it needed to be cleaned a bit and breakfast was lacking pretty badly.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. All in all, not a bad motel but probably wouldn’t……

“Front desk check was a breeze. Very friendly staff. Our king room was very clean! Breakfast was adequate, I liked the fact they had trays to take back to the room. Would stay there again.”

“No elevator. I walked the entire first floor twice thinking I somehow missed seeing the elevator. I finally asked the front desk where it was and was told there isn’t one. I don’t mind using the stairs but when you load the dolly cart full and push it down the hallway to use the elevator it would be helpful if the staff tells you there is t an elevator upon checking you in on the second floor. There is only one ice machine”
