Staff was very nice and professional. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a bit of cigarette smell, but would stay again.

The view of the lake was amazing! Since we were there in cooler temps, we enjoyed sitting by the firepit one afternoon. We were close to hiking spots and wineries that we wanted to visit.

We weren't there long enough to look around, but we did like spending time at Mermet Lake and seeing the wildlife there. We weren't sure if ALL of the snakes were dangerous, but they were fun to see from a healthy distance.
No reason to visit just passing through on the way to Chicago
We were driving through town to New Orleans. Did not do any sight seeing.
