"The staff at the motel was great. I called to warn them that I wasn't going to be there until close to midnight and they said that there is someone on call 24/7. The room was cute. There was a great picture of the US made from a collage of license plates on the wall and a moose toilet roll holder that I loved. They had an out door grilling space with chairs and a small continental breakfast setup."

"This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed at this location. The cabin was clean and comfortable, it was easy to check in and check out. The area can be explored and you are able to find hidden surprises on the property and encouraged to explore the area. It was a center point of all attractions we enjoy experiencing in the area not to mention close to restaurants and shopping. You will not regret booking a stay here. The only downfall is some of the cabins experience spotty wifi but that didn't bother us because we came here to unplug from our everyday life and plug into the wilderness. if you have ATVS or snowmobiles, they have parking in the back of the property for those as well. The cabins close to the road you will hear a lot of traffic go by all day and all night."

"Staff was awesome, in particular Christine. She went out of her way to be accommodating. I stayed last year and the hotel was nice. However, the new ownership has done an amazing job on the room renovations and taken the place to the next level. I spend about 2 weeks every month in different hotels and there are very few that stand out but this one does for the cleanliness, renovations, location, etc. When I find a good one it is hard to tell everyone how wonderful it is because I don't want the property to become too popular and then I would have to find another spot. The Three Seasons Restaurant next door is also fantastic; although, I always get the Perch Dinner (pan sauteed)."

"We always book at Holiday in express because my husband loves the biscuits and gravy. Wonderful and consistent every time. He was so disappointed that there were no biscuits and gravy at this HI Express. Also, any time I have booked thru Expedia the staff has always given my my rewards points. The girl at the front desk told me I could try but most likely would not get them. Not helpful at all."

"Masters Retreat is a great rental in a perfect location. Very cozy and homey. Took the row boat out on the quiet lake and caught Northern, small mouth bass, bluegills, pumpkin seeds and some very small perch. Also lots of wildlife. Every morning and evening the deer showed up in the yard…ducks on the pier…trumpeter swans on the shore…and an eagle flying overhead. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake.The only small issue was some key kitchen items were missing (we left a note so hopefully will be resolved for the next guests).Overall a great experience here and would highly recommend."
