“Great location. Free onsite parking. Owner was super helpful and breakfast was really good with fresh fruit, homemade breads, quiche, waffle and coffee. The room was huge but somewhat loud with the air purifier. The tv is ancient and the shower wasn’t great. The bed was very comfortable. It is walking distance to the Royal Shakespeare theater and WoodrowWilson’s library. Pros definitely trump the negatives. I would stay again. Be prepared to walk some stairs.”

“This inn is old and historic. Passed down through many generations. It was interesting and Uncle Charlie’s room was comfortable. Breakfast was good not until 9am. They now have a full time live in innkeeper which is helpful. Convenient to Vineyards/wineries, JMU, Massanutten and breweries. The beautiful Shenandoah valley can’t be beat for scenery!”
