“Amazing location. The cabin is EXACTLY as described. It was WELL STOCKED with commodities that we needed to be comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens etc. The kitchen had just about every gadget and item we needed to have great meals. We cannot say enough about how PEACEFUL this location was for us. The sounds of nature abound, both of land and sea. We spent as many nights as possible out at the fire pit, watching the sun set and enjoying the star filled sky. The stars are unbelievable....

“This was our second visit to Peter’s lovely cabin. The location is perfect. The waterfront views are beautiful and there is lots of comfy outdoor seating. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new. The location is convenient to a supermarket and to downtown Booothbay. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are a must see! Peter is a wonderful host and we will return for sure. ”

“We stayed in this cabin for two nights with our dog and it was very peaceful and fun! The cabin has a campfire, lots of batteries for charging, lights, battery fans, etc. There were many long walking trails with fun activities; like kayaking, axe throwing, a pizza oven… Exactly what we were looking for! Would stay again! ”

“Very peaceful and relaxing. The property had everything you never knew you might need. Like some lighter fluid for the fire place, completely forgot that I can't start a fire like a cave man. But with the lighter fluid it was easy. We loved it, even though it rained one day there was plenty to do in the house. Would definitely recommend!”

“We loved this cottage steps from the lake and convenient to the area sites. The lake view is amazing, and swimming in it was a favorite, along with using the kayaks & paddle board. The owners are so friendly and attentive, going above & beyond to address one water issue we had. Such a comfortable & peaceful stay - we hope to return!”

“Cabin was just as it was described. Everything we needed. Stairs down to the water could use some maintenance. The dock and water were fantastic. My kids loves going out to the island. Overall great property. Would definitely come back.”
