The only thing I liked was the location, which is close to all of Rockland's downtown and waterfront. Otherwise, the rooms were really basic and really small and the halls were carpeted in worn carpet. But the price was enormous. I guess they were taking advantage of it being LobsterFest to charge over $500. for this really disappointing room. Carol Gerstl

Very cute and clean. Very accessible to bar harbor and hiking areas.

This place was only about a half hour or so from Acadia National Park which was perfect for us. It was a large space for our family of 5. It was clean and organized and had more than 1 bathroom which was necessary. The sitting area easily accommodated all of us as well as the kitchen. It wasn’t far from many places in Ellsworth either. We were able to spend time in Acadia National Park but still have a large enough area for the whole family to relax when we got back. I really appreciated the listing of local places to try or visit. FYI we loved Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain especially. Would definitely recommend this place especially with family.

Topside really is a 10. The property is larger than we usually like, but it is built and managed in such a way that it feels intimate. The location is beautiful and is close to the harbor center, yet it feels tucked away. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff provides treats and beverages to keep you feeling week cared for.
