10/10 Excellent
"We chose this property as I wanted to go somewhere in Scotland, not far from home, with my friends to celebrate my birthday. My requirement was a place that could accommodate a group of 10 in a cute town, and I was not too fussed about the place itself, and this place met those while browsing. I didn’t expect this house to give me one of the best weekends of my year. The pre arrival communication with the host was great, and our host, River, met us at the door when we arrived. There was a welcome prosecco, some bread and fresh fruits for us which was a delightful touch. We were also provided with an information book which had everything we needed to know about the house, safety, appliances, and some recommendations about eateries in town as well. The communal kitchen was a highlight for me personally. Everything I could want and more was in the kitchen, a fridge with ice cubes machine, coffee maker, a wide range of teas, and a bar area stocked with all the supplies for making cocktails! The lounge and dining area were also great, comfortable, with beautiful views and smart TVs. Our host River was friendly, knowledgable, responsive and communicative as well. It felt reassuring to have her presence nearby in the nursery without it feeling imposing, and she gave great recommendations for activities as well. I would highly recommend this place both for the house itself and because of the lovely host. The main thing lacking in the house was accessibility."

"Eine sehr schöne, saubere und geräumige Wohnung. Der Blick aufs Meer und der direkte Zugang waren zauberhaft. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin bzw. Verwalterin klappte hervorragend.Die Woche war richtig erholsam für uns."
The Bladnoch Inn

"Helped me out immensely when he wasn't really taking bookings for that night"
Craigmount
10/10 Excellent
"A fantastic overnight stop in the heart of Wigtown. Mal and Nicole are excellent hosts, and the whole place is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Nicole cooks everything from fresh, and the breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. Dinner was equally delicious, again all cooked from fresh by Nicole. The book-themed rooms are a lovely touch and perfectly reflect Wigtown's reputation as Scotland's National Book Town. If you're looking for a warm welcome, a great night's sleep, and an excellent breakfast, this is the place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to return."

"The room was exactly as expected. Excellent location within the town"
Immaculate 2-Bed Static Caravan at Monrieth
8/10 Good
"Very comfortable caravan with all the basic essentials covered. Milk on arrival with the tea and sugar would have been nice but the Spar in Port William a few miles away was well stocked. The View cafe in Port William was excellent well worth a visit. Caravan was in a good location at the back of the site with views out to sea."
Comfortable retreat with sea views in friendly Scottish village
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Cladach was superb. The house is spotlessly clean, really nicely furnished & contains everything you could possibly want for the perfect stay. The living/dining area is spacious & there are three good bedrooms including one with a sofa & additional TV if someone needs some downtime. Each room has their own bathroom as well as a cloakroom downstairs. The kitchen is probably the best equipped rental we've ever had, in terms of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Mary really has thought of everything. The location is good overlooking the harbour & it's a nice walk through the village, which has a shop, pub, cafe, childrens play area & even two bowling greens! The views are amazing & there are good coastal walking paths.Booking and communication with the Host was seamless. All in all we believe we struck gold here & very much hope to return in the not too distance future"
