"Not So Good: The workout room was disappointing. The treadmill was out of order. The elliptical machine was not working. Would light up and then stop when started. The floor needed to be swept. The hotel did seem a bit worn and dated in wall coverings and furnishings. Porch door was a bit unstable - felt like it didn't shut / lock well. Good: The hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. The river view is lovely. The rushing sound of the water, the mist rising on a cold morning . . lovely."

"We stayed here and it was very convenient for us. We were there for the casino, FYI they offer free shuttle to the casino until 1 a.m.! Easy check-in, easy check-out and the staff was amazing. Thank you! Definitely staying here again. "

"The lodge was very nice but Expedia really let me down. The Lodge had no booking for me. The staff at the lodge was no help at all so I had to pay for the three nights again on another card. I have not resolved this yet Expedia. I would highly recommend this lodge in Bryson City NC. "

"Beautiful cabin with very nice features. Tucked away halfway between Bryson City and Sylva. Two nice areas to explore for shopping, food, and drinks. Host was very communicative and addressed questions and concerns we had in a timely manner. Plenty of dishes and utensils, but no dishwasher. Great selection of movies and records with a very nice stereo system and record player. Comfortable beds and couch. We did have some issues with reception. My partner and I both have Verizon. Looking up places to eat and visit and directions were difficult so I’d recommend anyone staying to plan ahead. There was one section of the cabin by the bedroom window where we could get two bars of service. Would stay here again"

"Cabin is cute and we had a nice weekend. 3 stars is because we were looking forward to the wood stove in the bedroom and it was not operational even though we stayed here in February. The shower was a little rough. Shower curtains on both sides cling to you the whole time you’re in the shower. Also, Vacasa Rentals is who you have to communicate with regarding your booking, and you will get nothing but AI generated responses from them. Overall, cute cabin and good location. "
