“We had such a lovely stay at this wonderful B&B. Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. ”

Attention to detail in seen throughout the hotel from arrival in the car park, through a perfectly manicured courtyard and pleasant reception area. My room looked out onto fields . Two large windows that let a lovely breeze into the room. Elegantly decorated room with all you need for a comfortable stay and perfect sleep. The bed was a dream. I slept all night……

“We entered the front and were met with a warm welcome at the bar. The place had a warm welcoming feel to it too. Once checked in we were taken to our room. The room was lovely. The bedroom was comfortable, clean and spacious. My wife and I immediately felt at home. The en-suite was also very clean and the shower was amazing. Was nice to freshen up after a long journey. There is a large car park at the rear and a lovely beer garden too. Slept well - beds were really comfy. As for breakfast - wow……

“Nice room. Breakfast overpriced with no reduction for continental option - we didn't choose this and went to the local cafe! Dinner was a shambles. Clearly a good chef and helpful and hard-working staff .... but spoilt by lack of management and understaffing.”

“Room was immaculate . £15 per night to park car at property I found this a bit pricey but parked there anyway . If you want an early check in it’s £25 which once again is very pricey but you can park up and leave your stuff if you don’t want to pay this . If anything the bathroom is on the small side. Bed was very comfy . Would use again”

“Basic clean room. Fine for people like me who just want a clean room with a shower to go exploring. Pretty noisy but I’m a heavy sleeper so wasn’t bothered. Nice folks, very helpful and responsive.”

“Parking was good, right outside our room. Staff were very friendly and nice. There was a good choice for breakfast of cooked and cereal. The room was clean, did notice a couple of spiders, one small one in the bath which was easily washed down the bath and one above the wardrobe storage, which didn't cause any problems. The light in the mirror one side had dimmed. Very central to York 1/2 and hour and 1 hour from Bridlington. There is a manned bar, but on Wednesday night it wasn't open which……
