"Very pleased with this property overall. We left the Palm Desert to get out of the heat, mission accomplished! We noticed on the listing that the home was air conditioned and it die have 2 portable room air conditioners vented outside. It was extremely warm and a couple of box fans would have helped circulate the cool air. Other than that, we really enjoyed this property…highly recommend!"

"To say that cactus was big is an understatement. It’s so big it probably charges the owners rent! Very clean and VERY quiet. We saw a lot of stars we normally don’t see. Huge deck allowing morning and evening sun. Nice and relaxing for coffee and wine. We literally did not see another person up there except on the road. It is a birder paradise and the ground squirrels frolicking was a kick. We will be back when visiting grandkids."

"We had a fabulous time in Idyllwild! The small-town vibe, the kindness of the locals, and the spectacular hikes did not disappoint. Our host, Heather, went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger property because she thought the cabin we originally booked would be too tight for four people.
