“To say that cactus was big is an understatement. It’s so big it probably charges the owners rent! Very clean and VERY quiet. We saw a lot of stars we normally don’t see. Huge deck allowing morning and evening sun. Nice and relaxing for coffee and wine. We literally did not see another person up there except on the road. It is a birder paradise and the ground squirrels frolicking was a kick. We will be back when visiting grandkids.”

“The host provided very easy to follow instructions on how to get to the campsite. We stayed at Crown View, one of the domes. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with how tidy everything was at the site. An added surprise of an outdoor sink with soap and a sponge to wash up at the site was cool. The only issue we had was finding the exact house and the gate code. I did not see anywhere on the check-in instructions a gate code, but when I messaged the host, they responded right away. “My family described the house as whimsical. It’s a very cool home with amazing views from the deck. We loved staying there and the kids couldn’t get enough of the spiral staircase. It’s dog friendly, has a full kitchen, good shower pressure, and excellent as far as privacy goes for a disconnected weekend away.
