“Well when we first arrived the hotel was outdated and musty feeling. The attendant at the front desk was rude to us. Didn’t give us any directions on where our room was and this hotel is a maze not a standard hotel. The swimming pool was GREEN! But ok to swim in staff said so. No thank you! Finally found the room after being so turned around to discover dirty towels, dusty room, a loose tile in the bathroom floor (almost fell) and mold on the bathroom ceiling and the wrong room! Was down graded……

“We had a lovely 1 night stay at the quaint Jackson. We enjoyed the wine & cheese hour, had dinner at Oakes & Evelyn (on site but not part of the hotel) and enjoyed a nightcap on the porch. The bed was super comfortable, sheets were clean and crisp, robes were Frette and products smelled great. The property is gorgeous and Woodstock as a town is a delight.”

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and fresh fruit, which were a thoughtful touch. Breakfast has a good variety of options to choose from.
