Staff was very uneducated and unprofessional. I called to ask pet policy before hand told me $250 when I got back up to the front to pay it they told $297 and I asked on the phone if $250 was the total before hand. They watched me pull the entire $250 on my account out at the atm and then said they didn’t take cash! Rooms weren’t even all that great no micorwave and had a door that led to other room next to us. Area wasn’t nice either.

This hotel seemed like a ghetto. Dirty with sheets thrown alongside the hallway. The minute I entered I realized this is a very unsafe place to live in and moved out of the property in 30 minutes. Wouldn't recommend

We stayed here because it was close to Wake Forest University and we were attending a college tour. The area didn’t feel safe. The facilities are old and need updating. The bathtub was stained, the iron was burned and crusted over and couldn’t use it. Additionally I booked the room specifically because they had a pool. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed. The TV service was suboptimal and did not always connect. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and the toilet did not fully flush. We didn’t leave because we were only staying one night and didn’t want to go through the trouble of finding another location. The only saving grace was that the staff were very friendly and helpful! Check in was quick.

The only good thing was the staff who are at the front desk. The elevator has a horrible, nauseating smell. One of them I was told not to use since it wasn't working properly. The first room I was assigned to appeared ok, until I looked on the pillow and there was a dead bug which looked like a bed bug. There was also a dead bug on the roll of toilet paper I was supposed to use. Brought the bug downstairs to the desk and his reply was "What did I want to do?" No apology and at 11:30pm I wanted a clean comfortable room. I had been driving for 12 1/2 hours. Got assigned another room and that one was clean. The carpeting either needs a steam cleaning or replacement it reeks. Complimentary breakfast was bad, burnt food, The bread was good for toast. On my 2nd day ,I asked to talk to the manager and was told she was off(Miss Jennifer). My name and phone number were taken and I was assured she would call me back..... still waiting for that call. They were still going to use that first room without it being checked out-unacceptable. Will never stay here again. Winston-Salem has numerous hotels, and one of them will get my business and my families business. We were down for a funeral and numerous family members were here.

I liked the property, but my room was lacking. I was placed on the back side of the hotel, causing a very long walk from the entrance. My room HVAC is leaking water from the unit and wetting the floor. The commode seat needs correcting. It moves around when sit upon, The shower curtain rod is sagging, causing the curtain to remain partially open. The ceiling is moldy because there is no exhaust in the bathroom. The food was GREAT. The breakfast attendant is doing an excellent job. The front desk is also doing a good job and is friendly. I felt safe. I would stay here again.

Everything we wanted and reason for booking. At check in NO ONE mentioned that pool was closed. We had gone to our room, charged into bathing suits to go to pool. When we got to the pool, there was no water in it! After an 8 hour ride in the car, with 2 children, this was very disappointing to say the least. The front desk not helpful with possible options. We googled area parks with pool/splash pads and located one Polo park.

Pictures were deceiving. The restaurant is no longer on property. Pool closed because of inspection issues. Found two bugs in one bed and toilet had yellow spots on outside of toilet. Staff was excellent! They were persistent in getting us another room and seeing that we had a working tv.

The pictures they have on the website have to be from years ago, the building exterior needs a lot of touch ups , the room and bed is good, but the bathroom leaves more to be desired. If the bathroom was more updated room would’ve been perfect! But the outside definitely needs alot of work. Its not a bad place of you are looking for somewhere to lay your head

Staff was really nice and helpful. But the only thing I can complain about is the bathroom and shower! There is no water pressure and the toilet barely flushes!

stayed at this hotel in June and had a very disappointing experience. Despite making a reservation a month in advance for two rooms with double beds, we had to wait over an hour to check in. When we finally got to the counter, we were told that only one room with double beds and one room with a king bed were available. This was not what we reserved or needed, especially after driving thirteen hours to get there. Prior to our stay, I called to confirm the reservation and was assured that the rooms would be either adjoining or next to each other. Upon arrival, their only option was for us to cancel, which was not feasible given our long drive. We were a party of eight, and having only a king room and a double room was extremely inconvenient. Additionally, we faced issues with the television and the door lock, which further added to our frustration.
