"We had a large-ish group for my son's graduation from Middlebury College and could not have asked for a nicer host or place. The upstairs/main floor is really so much cooler even than the photos portray. You feel like you are out in the field with huge windows in every room. The basement is dark and cool and very flexible bed and roomwise. Everyone felt very comfortable and well cared for. Kara is a fantastic and responsive host and we are so grateful for the soft landing."

"We only needed it for a short stay. In the winter. It was a short ride to lake placid. It was clean, heat worked, had hot water, enough rooms and beds to sleep in. Had all the basics to get by. Just no toaster. Would stay again. The only thing I can say didnt work well. Was the wifi. But it was nice to disconnect. Just Hard to reach our loved ones in the evenings and find local places to get things."

We loved using the sauna after each day of skiing and boarding at Whiteface. The location is close to Whiteface and about 20 minutes to Lake Placid. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The cottage was very conveniently located for hiking a few mountains in the Adirondacks. Very clean and well maintained, the grass had just been cut for our arrival. Easy accessible since close to the road 9N but very quiet. It is surrounded by nature so you will hear frogs and birds and other animals, it is a very nice place to relax and enjoy nature. "We very much enjoyed our five-day stay at this house on Lake Champlain -- at one of the narrowest parts of the lake (NY is a kayak away). There's a high-ceiling living room, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and it's a great area for runs/biking/walks. We very much recommend it."
