“Our stay at Giant’s View cabin was a one of adventure and tranquility! The cabin itself was very warm and inviting. The views of the mountains were spectacular! Our favorite part outside of hiking and fishing was rocking in the comfy chairs in the screened in porch. The weather was hot while we were there but we stayed cool by utilizing the provided fans. We even got to see a family of deer crossing in front of the cabin. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away...

“This is a hidden gem. Great location and it is perfect for a couple or family. My wife and I (just 2) rented the cabin and loved every minute. Hiked in the area for over 20 miles and then you are close to so many other things. One, driving distance to Montreal, Canada where we had a fabulous lunch and shopping and were back at the cabin for dinner. Two, you are so close to Vermont and that is worth the drive because of how beautiful it is. Communication with the owners is 10. We ate breakfast...

“This was our first visit to Wilmington NY. The house and the location are wonderful. A very peaceful environment and the house is comfortable and nicely appointed. The location on Quaker Mtn Rd is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy quiet. Lots of good hiking trails around the area and getting to Lake Placid is easy and "just down the road". House was clean, quite, and private -- just what we want when coming to the ADKs.Only 1 thing to note: the house was a bit dusty in spots, and the water took about 30 minutes to turn over. I suspect the house had been empty for a while, but not likely an issue during busier times of year.Would happily stay here again.”

“I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful...

“It was always nice and quiet, and had a nice vibe to it. The natural setting of it was great, I love being in the woods and hearing the birds and such. Neighbors were not right on top of each other, so it felt like it was your own space to enjoy. Definitely a good place to disconnect and relax! I had too many other things going on and wasn't there near enough time to enjoy it more, as it deserves. Maybe I'll come back another time.”
