It was perfect for what we needed and the game room kept the kids busy for quite a while. "This cabin is very cute and was very clean. Almost everything we needed was provided at the home and we appreciated so much wood for the firepit, which we used constantly due to how cold it was. Had to pick up charcoal, but it was an easy 15 minute drive to town for this. Sadly, the staircase to the lake is not described well enough. It seemed to be one long stair case down, when actually, its 3 very long staircases and crossing a small street. Its not an easy or short distance. The area is...

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!"

"Our group of eleven people (and one dog) enjoyed a lovely long weekend here when we traveled to the ADKs to see the total solar eclipse of the sun. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The outdoor firepit and jacuzzi provided opportunities to unwind at night. Everyone had space to relax."

"Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival."
