"Clean rooms! Great breakfast."

avid Hotel Wisconsin Dells – Lake Delton by IHG

8/10 Good

"As a brand new hotel, it’s VERY clean and visually pleasing! Cleanliness is always my first priority so this was a win! I did not participate in the free breakfast, but it was nice to know it was there. Staff were friendly. The room was a bit smaller, but if I understand correctly, this is a type of minimalist hotel where they provide the basics; just what is needed, which btw was perfect for me!! My only complaint is that the walls do not block out sound too well. I heard the person’s feet above my room every time they took a step. I heard a constant, periodic ticking from the hallway (not sure what that was). And I heard the cleaning folks pushing their cart, knocking on doors and shouting, “housekeeping” at 9:30 ish in the morning. It was tolerable as I was already awake, but annoying. Overall, I was very pleased and you definitely can’t beat the rate! I will use them again for sure."
